What is Discover Upland?

The Discover Upland campaign is a partnership between the City of Upland and Upland Chamber of Commerce to ensure that both Upland businesses and essential city services like police and fire thrive. Together, they share a commitment to building a strong Upland economy and a vibrant community.

A large part of the effort is directed toward helping consumers understand that  shopping in Upland directly benefits their quality of life through increased sales tax generation. Besides police and fire services, this revenue helps pay for street repair and renewal, maintenance and enhancements to parks and open spaces, and community events. 

As an added value, many business owners are offering incentives to consumers to “discover” their businesses. Incentives can be downloaded from this site or are available in a monthly e-mail update. Eventually a booklet will be available to pick up at chamber and city offices and at participating businesses.

A public awareness campaign has been launched utilizing store window decals and in-store displays with a distinctive logo, informative mailings to residents through the Upland water bill, articles in Upland Today, and Upland Chamber’s Impact among others.
